Midday Forex: Leu gains modestly versus euro
The national Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 4.0821 lei/euro, down 0.21% after a strong rally of the national currency in the interbank market, from 4.0910 to 4.0810 units/euro.
For the US dollar, the central bank set a reference rate of 2.9597 lei/US dollar, 1% lower from yesterday’s rate.
