Carpatair boosts flight frequency on Timisoara-Bucharest route



Carpatair, the airline company with the hub in Timisoara, said it would increase the frequency of short-haul flights to Bucharest, by introducing new morning flights to the country’s capital as of April 12, 2010. Fares start from €9 + fees (one way ticket).
The airline company will also introduce a new fare grid available for all flights on Bucharest-Timisoara route. Passengers who will buy round-trip tickets will receive a 10% discount.

The new morning flights from Timisoara to Bucharest will be operated from Monday to Friday.

“The introduction of the morning flights to Bucharest offers passengers from Bucharest and Timisoara the possibility of traveling at a reasonable hour and enjoys the rest of the day. The new flight schedule will be of great interest to those who travel for business purposes and who want to return home in the same day”, said Paula Ardelean, marketing and sales vice president at Carpatair.

The new flights will operated with a 50-seats Saab 2000 aircrafts during April 12 – May 17, and will introduce a new 72-seats Fokker 70 at a later date.
