Midday Forex: Leu rallies to 14-month high
The reference rate set by the National Bank of Romania dropped 0.05% to 4.0716 lei/euro, the lowest level since January 6, 2009, after hovering near 4.07 lei/euro level in the interbank market.
For the US dollar, the reference rate set by the central bank stood at 3.0469 lei/US dollar, up 1.08% from Tuesday.
