Midday Forex: Leu stays firm vs euro, touches new 14-week high
The reference rate set by the National Bank of Romania dropped 0.15% to 4.0653 lei/euro, the lowest level since January 6, after increasing from 4.0580 to 4.0680 lei/euro in the interbank market in the morning.
For the US dollar, the National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 3.0453 lei/dollar down slightly (0.05%) from Wednesday’s rate.
