Midday Forex: Leu recedes slightly
The reference exchange rate set by the National Bank of Romania increased by 0.07% on Friday, to 4.0682 lei/euro, as leu eased against its European counterpart in the morning trade from 4.0620 to 4.0710 but fell to 4.07 lei/euro afterwards.
For the US dollar, the National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 3.0410 lei/dollar, down slightly (0.14%) from Tuesday’s rate.
