BSE stocks gain 1.7%



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange grew 1.7% today, led by energy stocks, boosting the total trading value to 104.4 million lei.
Transactions with Rompetrol Rafinare (BSE:RRC) worth 85.3 million lei in the takeover offering have been recorded at the stock market today.

Subtracting the trades with Rompetrol Rafinare stocks, the liquidity stood at 19 million lei today, versus 19.27 million lei yesterday.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE closed up 0.91% to 5,987.17 points, while composite BET-C jumped 1.70% to 3,534.60 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies rose 0.09% to 32,282.60 points, while Vienna’s ROTX increased by 0.81% to 11,974.67 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks climbed 1.07% to 595.86 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks finished up 1.28% to 806.12 points.

European stocks were trading mixed a BSE’s closing, in a tight range. At the London Stock Exchange, FTSE index of the leading 100 companies was inching down 0.21% to 5,698.70 points, while Germany’s DAX was moving 0.02% higher to 6,158.22 points. France’s CAC40 was rising 0.03% to 4,001.87 points.

Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) shares have been the most traded stocks today, with a total trading value of 1.84 million lei while stock prices dropped 0.43% to 2.32 lei. BRD SocGen closed up 0.65% at 15.60 lei.

In the FIC sector (BSE:SIF), FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) rose 0.55% to 1.82 lei, while FIC Transilvania (BSE:SIF3) closed flat at 0.87 lei.
