BSE stocks post modest losses



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange moved lower today, led by the financial investment companies sector that tumbled 0.50%, while trading liquidity was propped up by state securities trades.
The total trading value at the Bucharest Stock Exchange plummeted 81% to 19.22 million lei (€4.69 million) from 104.39 million lei yesterday. Trades with state securities totaled 108 million lei.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks shed 0.36% to 5,965.35 points, while composite BET-C finished down 0.42% to 3,519.93 points.

BET-FI gauge of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) closed down 0.36% to 11,931.93 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks dropped 0.37% to 593.63 points, while BET-NG index of ten energy stocks inched down 0.06% to 805.64 points.

Dafora Medias (BSE:DAFR) shares have beent eh most traded stocks today, with a total trading value of 2.93 million lei, while stock prices jumped 3.61% to 0.172 lei.

Petrom shares (SNP) finished down 1.15% to 0.344 lei, and posted a total trading value of 1.03 million lei.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) shed 0.55% and closed at 1.81 lei, while FIC Moldova (SIF2) suffered 0.66% decline to 1.50 lei.

Transactions with Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) totaled 2.05 million lei, while stock prices dropped 0.43% to 2.31 lei, while BRD closed flat at 15.60 lei.
