White & Case LLP appoints ex-Salans partner
Global law firm White & Case LLP adds to its leadership team in the Bucharest office Lucian Bondoc as co-executive partner and head of the Mergers & Acquisitions/Corporate and Competition Practices.
Prior to joining White &Case, Lucian Bondoc worked for three years at Salans law firm and served as Managing Associate at Linklaters Miculiti, Mihai & Asociatii.
According to the law firm, the appointment of Lucian Bondoc is an important step in White & Case’s strategy to further increase its capabilities in corporate, competition, employment and the pharmaceuticals sector in the Bucharest office.
Lucian is specialized in all areas of corporate, commercial and competition law, focusing on M&A, capital markets and greenfield projects.
A member of the Bucharest Bar Association and the Law Society of England and Wales, Lucian holds four university degrees, including a master Degree in Public Administration from the French National School of Administration (Ecole Nationale d’Administration).
The law firm has promoted recently Paula Corban and Flaviu Nanu, energy & utilities and real estate senior members as counsels.
Earlier this year, White & Case LLP named Delia Panchiu as executive partner of Bucharest office. White & Case opened office in Bucharest in February 2008. The law firm’s branch in Romania is part of a broader CEE network that comprises offices in Budapest, Warsaw, Prague, Moscow, Bratislava and Alma-Ata.
The firm has 37 offices in 25 countries.
