BET finishes down 1%



Bucharest Stock Exchange ended another day of losses, with the index of ten most actively traded stocks closing down 1%, and financial investment companies posting 1% drop, on choppy trades in international markets.
The total trade value at the equity markets shrank slightly today, to 20.78 million lei (€5.03 million), from 22.43 million lei (€5.43 million) yesterday. Fixed-income instruments trades totaled 10.93 million lei (€2.64 million) buoyed by state securities and bond transactions.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks, shed 1.01% to 5,992.23 points, while composite BET-C gave up 0.63% and closed at 3,602.20 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies dropped 1.03% to 32,309.48 points, while Vienna’s ROTX inched down 0.38% to 12,202.68 points.

BET-XT gauge of 25 most traded stocks moved 0.99% lower to 599.28 points, while BET-NG index of ten energy stocks slumped 1.35% to 818.13 points.

Banca Transilvania shares (BSE:TLV) have been the most traded stocks today with a total trade value of 2.93 million lei, while stocks closed flat at 2.30 lei. BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) closed 0.65% below yesterday level, at 15.30 lei, and trading liquidity stood at 1.71 million lei.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) also closed flat at 1.93 lei, while FIC Banat Crisana (BSE:SIF1) gave up 1.82% to 1.62 lei.
