BSE ends another winning day



The Bucharest stock market grew across the board today, even if most traded stocks had a different performance, after poor job data released by the U.S. Labor department sent shockwaves across the external equity markets.
The total trade value at the equity market dropped to 21.2 million lei (€5.1 million) from 24.15 million lei (€5.8 million) yesterday.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE climbed 0.46% to 6,056.70 points, while the composite BET-C gained 0.47% to 3,638.21 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies had the biggest increase today, of 0.64% to 32,789.36 points. Vienna’s ROTX grew 0.26% to 12,356.96 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks at BSE finished up 0.55% to 604,93 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks moved 0.62% higher to 834.13 points.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded stocks today, with 4.3 million lei total trade value, while stock prices rose 0.51%. FIC Moldova (BSE:SIF2) closed up 0.67% to 1.50 lei.

In the banking sector, Banca Transilvania shares (BSE:TLV) increased by 0.44% to 2.29 lei, while BRD Groupe Societe Generale (BSE:BRD) closed flat at 15.50 lei.

In the energy sector, Dafora (BSE:DAFR) slumped 2.38% to 0.1640 lei while Petrom (BSE:SNP) edged up 0.86% to 0.3530 lei. Transgaz (BSE:SNP) posted a 1.61% gain at closing, to 258.10 lei.
