BSE stocks wipe out early gains



Indices at the Bucharest Stock Exchange turned negative at closing today, after a strong debut, the FIC sector being the most affected by the sharp selloff, with 2% loss.
The total trade value at the equity market dropped Tuesday to 24.21 million lei (€5.82 million) from 34.76 million lei (€8.36 million).

In the fixed-income instruments sector, state securities trades totaled 101.12 million lei (€24.31 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks gave up 0.38% to 5,923.05 points, while composite BET-C lost 0.29% and closed at 3,562.55 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) took the steepest plunge today, and finished 2.01% below yesterday level, to 31,006.62 points, while Vienna’s ROTX fell 0.13% to 12,090.21 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks slumped 1.05% to 584.41 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks edged down 0.26% to 818.08 points.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) have once again been the most actively traded today, with total trade value of 7.06 million lei, and stock prices dropped 1.06% to 1.87 lei.

FIC Banat-Crisana (BSE:SIF1) slumped 2.07% to 1.42 lei, and attracted 3 million lei liquidity.

In the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) dropped 0.44% to 2.25 lei, while BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) suffered 0.65% decline to 15.20 lei.
