Didier Gerard, Citroen Romania: We have high expectations for the new DS3
The chief executive of Citroen Romania, Didier Gerard, said the car maker expects strong sales for the newly-launched DS3, since in France sales had already gone to 6.000 units in March alone.
“We have high expectations for the new DS3 in Romania; in France we have already sold 6.000 DS3 cars in March. The model would not enjoy the same success in Romania, but we do expect strong sales”, said Gerard, at the launch of the new Citroen DS3.
Citroen DS3 is available in the automaker’s dealerships in Romania as of April, for which prices will start from €14,790 for DS3 Chic 1.4 VTi 95HP.
According to the head of Citroen, there are already orders for the new DS3. “The price of the car is below its peers’. We already have orders for the model, but we haven’t started marketing it”, said Gerard.
The head of Citroen Romania added that the next “DS will be launched at the end of the year or early 2011”.
