BSE stocks close higher on thin liquidity



Indices at the Bucharest Stock Exchange grew modestly today, by 0.50% for ROTX, while financial investment companies were removed from trading ahead of general shareholders meeting, the liquidity being considerably thinned.

The total trade value at the equity market stood at merely 1.94 million lei (€468,059), in the absence of financial investment companies and other heavily traded stocks.

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most heavily traded stocks rose 0.45% to 5,711.69 points, while composite BET-C gained 0.13% to 3,432.16 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was not calculated, as FIC shares (BSE:SIF) were removed from the trading arena ahead of the general meeting of shareholders. Vienna's ROTX finished up 0.48% to 11,687.16 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks finished up 0.20% to 561.54 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks moved 0.24% higher to 783.73 points.

BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) have been the most traded stocks today, with a total trade value of 779.697 lei, while stock prices climbed 0.68% to 14.70 lei. Erste
Bank (BSE:EBS) gained 0.95% to 137.50 lei, in a liquidity of 122,000 lei.

Transgaz (BSE:TGN) jumped 1.39% to 247.50 lei, while Biofarm (BSE:BIO) closed flat at 0.21lei.
