BSE stocks lose traction, BET skids 1.40%



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange capped the first day of the week with a sharp decline across all indices, the total trade value rising four-fold from Friday, to 26.84 million lei (€6.5 million), the biggest trade value being recorded by FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5), FIC Moldova (BSE:SIF2) and BRD.
BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE shed 1.40% to 5,647.46 points, while composite BET-C dropped 1.05% to 3,398.76 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies (BSE:SIF) dropped 1.38% to 29,147.84 points, while Vienna’s ROTX fell 11,633.29 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks gave up 1.08% to 556.39 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks finished down 1.46% to 774.20 points.

FIC Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded stocks today, with 8.74 million lei total trade value and 1.10% increase in stock quotes to 1.83 lei. FIC Moldova (BSE:SIF2) recorded 4.44 million lei trade value while stock prices fell 2.27% to 1.29 lei.

BRD SocGen closed flat, at 14.50 lei.
