Ciprian Paltineanu named head of Financing & Advisory, UniCredit
UniCredit group set up Financing & Advisory department, in an effort to improve the advisory services to its corporate customers in Romania.
The new department is aimed at bringing Structured Finance, Syndication, Real Estate Financing, European Funds, Factoring and Advisory under one roof.
Ciprian Paltineanu (photo), who served as chief executive of UniCredit CAIB Romania for the past three years, took on the new role as Financing & Advisory director of UniCredit Romania.
Ciprian Paltineanu, 35, also worked at the London office of Lehman Brothers. Prior to Lehman, he served as investment manager at Burkenroad, New Orleans, after graduating from an MBA at Tulane University.
He will be succeeded by Raluca Tintoiu, with over 11-year experience in corporate and investment banking in Romania and UK.
The new department will provide a wide range of services, from basic financial products to tailor-made structured financing or advisory solutions, designed for broad range of customers, from small and medium businesses to multinational companies, PE funds and real estate companies.
