RBS sets up financial education program

RBS has set up a financial education program in Romania, MoneySense that is run for over 15 years and is one of the largest financial and business skills program in UK and Ireland.
The program provides access to information and guidance to children and adults, customers and clients on how to handle their finances.

“The financial crisis has created the need for a more conscious management of personal finances. We all want to know the best way to sort our budget and finances. This is why MoneySense program set up by RBS in Romania is aimed at improving the financial education, and understanding of the financial terms and concepts”, said Georgeta Bora (photo), sustainable development director RBS Romania.

The program is free of charge and impartial and is carried out in at least one unit in the cities where the bank has branches. The program is available through MoneySense representatives, specially trained to provide assistance in the program.

The program provides financial education information also online, and anyone interested can access the MoneySense brochure available on the bank’s website.
