SIFs rebound, jump 3.72%



The most traded stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange posted hefty gains at closing today, while the five financial investment companies managed to shake off early blues and moved 3.72% higher.
The total trade value at the equity market dropped to 49.18 million lei (€11.72 million) from yesterday.

BET index of the ten most actively traded stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange jumped 3.01% to 5,128.63 points, while the composite BET-C finished up 1.85% to 3,073.36 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies grew 3.72% to 24,130.68 points. Vienna’s ROTX rose 2.62% to 10,764.69 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks increased by 2.89% to 490.69 points, while BET-NG gauge of ten energy stocks closed up 1.73% to 699.47 points.

SIF Oltenia shares (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded today, with 17.95 million lei total trade value, while stock prices rose 2.11% to 1.45 lei. SIF Moldova (BSE:SIF2) gained 4.81% to 1.09 lei, and recorded a total trade value of 4.61 million lei.

BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) climbed 2.99% to 13.8 lei, while Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) jumped 4.67% to 1.57 lei.

OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) closed 0.68% lower to 0.292 lei, while Transgaz Medias (BSE:TGN) moved 3.24% higher to 220 lei.
