Midday Forex: Leu hits fresh new low
The National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 4.1997 lei against euro, up 0.11% from yesterday.
The leu hasn’t been that weak since January 5, when the central bank set a reference rate of 4.2077 lei against euro. On Tuesday, NBR set a reference rate of 4.1949 lei/euro.
For the U.S dollar, the National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 3.4451 lei against the dollar, up 1.87% from 3.3819 lei/dollar yesterday.
