Midday Forex: Leu rises against euro

On Tuesday, the central bank set a reference rate of 4.1838 lei/euro.
For the U.S dollar, the reference rate is 3.3867 lei/dollar, down 1.15% from 3.4260 lei/dollar yesterday.
In the monetary market, the short-term interests remained above the monetary policy rate of 6.25%.
