Midday Forex: Leu remains strong against euro
The National Bank of Romania set a reference rate of 4.1532 lei against euro, down 0.46% from yesterday.
On Wednesday, the central bank set a reference rate of 4.1724 lei/euro.
For the U.S dollar, NBR set a reference rate of 3.3840 lei/dollar, down 0.08% from 3.3867 lei/dollar yesterday.
In the monetary market, short-term interests remained above the monetary policy rate of 6.25%/annum.
