Raiffeisen Internationals assets in Romania and Moldova fall 4.9%
Assets of Raiffeisen International in Romania and Moldova fell 4.9% in the Jan-Mar period to €5.864 billion, compared with end-2009, the bank said in a report.
Raiffeisen’s number of outlets declined to 542 in the first quarter this year, from 562 in the same period of last year.
Raiffeisen has also lowered staffing level, to 6,039 headcount in the first quarter from 6,762 in the same period of 2009.
In Romania, Raiffeisen Bank has a network of 500 branches that serves over 1.97 million customers, around 1,000 SMEs and over 6,800 large and medium corporations.
