SIFs soar 4.61%



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange posted significant gains today, after the major retreat yesterday, the biggest advance being recorded by the five financial investment companies.
The total trade value at the equity market halved to 12.36 million lei (€2.92 million).

BET index
that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE gained 1.97% to 4,775.64 points, while composite BET-C grew 1.86% to 2,848.21 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies jumped 4.61% to 19,981.93 points, while Vienna’s ROTX soared 2.55% to 9,613.91 points.

BET-XT index
of the 25 most traded stocks finished up 2.76% to 429.91 points, while BET-NG benchmark of ten energy companies traded 1.80% higher to 679.61 points.

SIF Oltenia shares (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded today, with a total trade value of 3.53 million lei, while stock prices increased by 4.76% to 1.1 lei. Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) closed up 2.17% at 1.41 lei and attracted a total trade value of 810,000 lei.

Stocks of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE:BVB) have been the fifth most traded, with a total trade value of 1.03 million lei, while prices rose 5.71% to 25.9 lei.

Transelectrica (BSE:TEL) increased by 4.07% to 17.9 lei, while OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) finished up 1.07% to 0.28 lei.
