Romania to attend Calgary's Global Petroleum Show



Nine Romanian oil & gas companies will be represented for the first time at the oil and gas event Calgary's Global Petroleum Show that will take place between June 5-12 in Canada, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment said.
Romanian companies participating in the event are Dafora, Confind, Foraj Sonde Tg.Mures, Despa, SIPG CPI, Dosco Petro Services, Perforating Technical&Quality Assurance, Black Sea Technochim Co. and Romanian Drink Service.

The representatives of Romanian and Canadian companies talked about the business environment in each country, oil and natural gas drilling sector, as well as the drilling technologies and cutting-edge equipment.

The Romanian delegation had a work session with the board of Canadian Petroleum Training Institute that was focused on the possibility of collaborating in staff training and consultancy in the field.

The economic mission is organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, Romanian Center for Promoting Trade and Foreign Investments (CRPCIS)n and the Association of Drilling Contractors in Romania (ACFR) and aims at promoting the business opportunities in the Romanian oil and gas sector in the Canadian market.

Global Petroleum Show in Calgary is held once every two years and is one of the world’s largest oil and gas events in North America and brings exhibiting companies in and professional associations in Canada, United States of America, Mexico, China, India, Germany, Korea, Georgia, Arab countries , Panama, Russia, Ukraine, Nigeria, Brazil, Japan, Poland, Czech Republic, UK.
