SIFs close up in bearish market tone



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange capped week broadly below yesterday level while financial investment companies managed to stay in the positive territory.
The total trade value at the equity market was much in yesterday range, at 15.81 million lei (€3.75 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE dropped 0.82% to 4,738.62 points, while composite BET-C gave up 0.39% to 2,846.85 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies grew 0.50% to 19,344.43 points, while Vienna’s ROTX fell 0.12% to 9,677.54 points.

BET-XT
index of the 25 most traded stocks fell 0.42% to 431.35 points, while BET-NG benchmark of ten energy stocks lost 0.38% to 680 points.

SIF Oltenia
(BSE:SIF5) have attracted a total trade value of 4.06 million lei while stock prices closed flat at 1.11 lei. SIF Moldova (BSE:SIF2) closed up 1.70% to 0.895 lei, and recorded a total trade value of 1.82 million lei.

BRD SocGen
(BSE:BRD) closed flat at 11.2 lei, while Erste Bank (BSE:EBS) finished up 2.22% to 115 lei.

Shares of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE:BVB) posted a total trade value of 1.35 million lei while stock prices dropped 5.60% to 25.3 lei.

In the energy sector, OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) rose 0.35% to 0.286 lei.
