25 million investment in the first wind turbines and blades manufacturing facility

Swiss-based Windex Group GmbH will build in Romania the first wind turbines and blades manufacturing facility in Constanta, which represents a total investment of €25 million, according to Nicolae Eduard Simion, chief executive of the group’s subsidiary in Romania.
“The construction for the facility will begin in two months, which is expected to last 12 months, so as to meet orders as soon as possible. The cost of the project is covered by the group”, said Eduard Simion.

He said that for the time being, the group is in talks with potential clients.

“We will have 100 workers. The turbines will have a capacity of minimum 225kW at 2.5MW”, said Eduard Simion.

He added that Windex opened a branch in Romania earlier this year, Windex Beast Technology.
