Stocks extend gains to fourth day



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange ended another winning day with strong gains across the board, led by BET-FI index that outperformed the market and closed 4% higher.
The total trade value at the equity market stood at 29 million lei (€7 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most actively traded stocks at BSE gained 2.33% to 5,218.69 points, while composite BET-C climbed 1.7% to 3,067.46 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies had the biggest hike, of 4.09% to 22,981.49 points, while Vienna’s ROTX rose 1.74% to 10,575.77 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks closed up 2.84% to 484.77 points, while BET-NG benchmark of ten energy stocks finished up 1.97% to 733.29 points.

SIF Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) have been the most traded, with total trade value of 6.3 million lei while stock prices increased by 3.88% to 1.34 lei. SIF Banat-Crisana (BSE:SIF1) recorded a total trade value of 1.4 million lei, while stock prices jumped 6.54%.

Banca Transilvana (BSE:TLV) rose 1.9% to 1.58 lei, while Transgaz (BSE:TGN) finished up 0.89% to 226 lei.

OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) went up 4% to 0.31 lei, while Broker Cluj (BSE:BRK) climbed 5% to 0.27 lei.
