INS to release house price index on June 29
The National Statistics Institute will release on June 29 the house price index, based on data collected from the notary offices, according to Vergil Voineagu, chairman of the institution.
The house price index will provide scalability and performance of housing values for residential properties for the quarterly reports that will be published by the statistics office.
The National Bank of Romania will work together with the Institute of Statistics for the calculation of the index, as central bank representatives have repeatedly stressed the importance of releasing a house price index, even in times of economic boom.
