Stocks cap week with loss across the board



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange turned lower in the last day of trading, with loss on all indices, after four successive winning days.
The total trade value at equity market stood at 20 million lei (€4.8 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of the ten most actively traded stocks at BSE lost shed 1.45% to 5,143.15 points, while composite BET-C dropped 1.04% to 3,035.44 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies suffered the biggest decline, of 1.73% to 22,548.63 points, while Vienna’s ROTX gave up 1.36% to 10,431.74 points.

BET-XT index of the 25 most traded stocks finished down 1.62% to 476.93 points, while BET-NG benchmark of ten energy companies moved 0.91% lower to 726.59 points.

SIF Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) attracted the biggest trade value of 6.2 million lei, while stock prices dropped 1.49% to 1.32 lei. SIF Banat-Crisana (BSE:SIF1) held steady at 1.15 lei, and recorded a total trade value of 692,000 lei.

Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) slumped 3.7% to 1.55 lei, while Transgaz (BSE:TGN) inched up 0.04% to 226.3 lei.

OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) fell 3% to 0.32 lei, while shares of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE:BVB) increased by 0.76% to 26.2 lei.
