Dan Diaconescu and Doru Parv detained for 29 days
The owner of TV channel Dan Diaconescu and paranormal show producer Doru Parv were detained for 29 days, the two persons following to lodge an appeal against the District 1 Court ruling.
The Court of District 1 adjourned Wednesday morning, at 4:00, following to make a final decision on the anti-corruption prosecutors’ request for 29-day arrest of Dan Diaconescu and of TV producer Doru Parv, after more than seven hours of deliberation.
The trial against Dan Diaconescu and Parv began Tuesday at 21:30, but was adjourned repeatedly as the court had to solve the exceptions raised by the lawyers as well as a recusal request put by one of them.
The ruling of the District 1 Court will be announced in public session but will not be definitive and can be appealed.
Dan Diaconescu was brought Tuesday night at the District 1 Court, arrested on blackmailing charges against him and TV producer Doru Parv.
