Heineken launches can with tactile ink



Heineken Romania, the second largest brewer in Romania launched today its 0.5l beer can with tactile ink, as part of the global brand innovation platform.
The new can features the application of a tactile ink and a 360-degree curve which creates the embossed effect.

A vertical logo has been introduced and the prominent red star that sits above symbolizes Heineken’s heritage, and features the green color that defines the visual identity of the brand.

Heineken Romania reported last year a 9% year-on-year growth in revenues to 896 million lei (€211 million).

Heineken’s product portfolio in Romania includes Ciuc Premium, Golden Brau, Neumarkt, Bucegi, Edelweiss (imported), Zipfer (imported), Gösser, Schlossgold, Silva, Gambrinus, Harghita and Hategana. Heineken Romania has three brewing facilities in Miercurea Ciuc, Targu Mures, Craiova and Constanta and employs 1,100.
