BSE stocks close higher after four days of loss



Stocks at the Bucharest Stock Exchange traded higher today, after four days of losses.
The total trade value at the equity market climbed to 31.44 million lei (€7.19 million).

BET index that gauges the performance of ten most liquid stocks grew 2.18% to 4,743.86 points, while composite BET-C rose 1.41% to 2,804.47 points.

BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies finished up 3.16% to 19,870.24 points, while Vienna’s ROTX moved 1.09% higher to 9,597.13 points.

index of the 25 most liquid stocks jumped 3.32% to 431.76 points, while BET-NG benchmark of ten energy companies gained 1.62% to 685.58 points.

SIF Oltenia (BSE:SIF5) attracted the biggest trade value of 7.81 million lei, while stock prices went up 2.61% to 1.18 lei. SIF Moldova (BSE:SIF2) gained 3.30% to 0.94 lei, and recorded a total trade value of 3.49 million lei.

BRD SocGen (BSE:BRD) rose 1.90% to 10.7 while Banca Transilvania (BSE:TLV) traded 2.99% higher to 1.38 lei.

In the energy sector, OMV Petrom (BSE:SNP) increased by 3.41% to 0.303 lei, while Transgaz (BSE:TGN) inched up 0.14% to 215.3 lei.
