PayPoint teams up with ApaVital Iasi for invoice collection



PayPoint Romania, one of the largest payment processors and electronic recharge, said it had signed an invoice collection agreement with ApaVital Iasi water supplier.
The agreement meets PayPal objectives of developing its customer portfolio and boost of invoice collection services availability for a higher number of users.

PayPoint’s objectives include the conclusion of contracts with partners with national and regional presence for a better coverage of markets the company operates in as well as of other uncovered areas.

“The partnership with ApaVital is part of our strategy of optimizing national presence by consolidating our position in Neamt and Iasi counties”, said Mugur Dogariu, managing director of the company.

PayPoint, the local subsidiary of the main cash and online payment processor in UK and Northern Ireland, recorded revenues of €28.8 million in 2009-10 fiscal year ending March 28.
