The prime minister designate Lucian Croitoru, failed to win the backing of the Parliament in a no-confidence vote.
The parliamentary majority, made up of PNL, PSD and UDMR said no the nomination of Lucian Croitoru by president Traian Basescu, thus extending a political crisis that may leave the country without a government until the presidential elections, 9am informs.
The cabined formed by Croitoru was rejected with 250 negative votes.
