Dinu Patriciu, Peter Imre team up to create global media company

“Adevarul Holding will be part of a global corporation that will be focused on media acquisitions and ongoing development of the media business on a global level. The company is called East European Media and will take in all my media investments”, said Dinu Patriciu.

Asked whether Imre will join in the development of the new company, the businessman confirmed but refused to provide any details. “I have nothing to say for now, because for the time being, the business is only on the drawing board. Adevarul Holding is an individual entity in Romania that has nothing to do with this”, said Patriciu.

Peter Imre, former corporate affairs of Philip Morris Romania, confirmed the news to Wall-Street, but didn’t provide other details.

“I think that the details Mr. Patriciu provided are enough given the current stage of the business. It will be a media holding, that will absorb all the existent investments and will open up the opportunity of gaining global presence. I will be involved in this project, but it’s too early to comment”, said Imre.
