Supervisory Council of Banca Comerciala Romana appointed Wolfgang Schoiswohl (aged 46) as executive vicepresident and member of executive committee, to replace Jean Andronie, corporate executive VP, which will leave the board of BCR, the bank announced.
Prior to joining BCR, Schoiswohl served as executive director and banking corporate vicepresident for HVB Bank and as chairman and CEO for Banca Comerciala Ion Tiriac and as vicepresident in charge with corporate deals of Banca Comerciala HVB Tiriac.
He was also member of board in charge with corporate banking division and treasury department in Volksbank Hungary.
Jean Andronie works at BCR since the founding of the bank, being named corporate executive vicepresident in 2004.
Wolfgang Schoiswohl will take over the new position starting January 1, 2009. His appointment will be effective after it is approved by National Bank of Romania (BNR).
