KBC Securities claims top position as No1 stock market broker

Brokerage KBC Securities returned to the top position of brokers on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) in February, with brokered deals worth 66.95 million lei, after a weaker debut this year, NewsIn informs.

KBC ranked fourth in January.

However, the leader of the first two months of the year is Raiffeisen Capital & Investment after having brokered deals of 123.59 million lei and despite a fall to the seventh position in February when it brokered transactions of only 30 million lei.

KBC Securities brokered deals of 114.73 million lei in the first two months this year.

The February classification includes UniCredit CAIB Securities and BT Securities on the second and third positions, with brokered deals worth 51.49 million lei and 37.69 million lei respectively.

EFG Eurobank Securities brokered deals of 34.58 million lei and the Bucharest branch of ING Bank brokered deals worth 33.08 million lei.
