KPMG Romania has appointed two new partners, Ramona Jurubita as tax partner, head of Indirect Taxation services, and Cezar Furtuna as audit partner, effective as of October 1.
Ramona has worked in taxation since 1999, when she joined KPMG in Romania directly after graduating from the Bucharest Academy of Economics Studies. From 2003 to 2006, she was tax manager for a multinational company in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry, where she gained practical experience in issues relating to tax planning, fiscal compliance and handling tax audits. She returned to KPMG in 2006.
Ramona Jurubita is a member of the UK based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as well as of the Romanian Chamber of Fiscal Consultants.
Cezar Furtuna has a ten-year experience in KPMG’s Banking and Financial audit.
Cezar joined KPMG in Romania directly after graduating in 1998. He has built up broad experience in providing audit services to clients from a wide range of sectors, including banks, leasing companies, mortgage companies, consumer finance companies, investment funds, and brokerage companies.
He has formed and led several audit teams, making sure that the experience and background of his staff closely fits the needs of the client. Cezar is a Fellow of the UK based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors.
