With a 20-year experience in market research, Mircea Kivu has held multiple executive roles at market research companies, such as IMAS where he served as research director and board chairman and chief executive officer until 2006, or Interactive Service where he worked as vice-president.
Founder member and chairman between 2001 and 2004 of the Romanian Association of Marketing and Public Opinion (SORMA), Mircea Kivu has been actively involved in supporting and developing the market research industry in Romania.
Mircea Kivu has been national representative from Romania to the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research starting 1999 until last year.
Mircea Kivu is also associate professor at the University of Bucharest, Sociology Faculty and Journalism Faculty where he teaches market research courses.
As part of his role, Mircea Kivu will assume the management of Mercury Research’s operating activities
