EuroIns Romania reports 2.8-fold increase in turnover in H1

Insurance company EuroIns Romania reported gross premiums written (GPW) of 177.6 million lei in the first half, 2.8-fold higher year-on-year, fueled by good sales performance, the company's managing director Alin Bucsa told NewsIn.

It posted GPW of 64.3 million lei in the first six months last year.

The company's managing director declared the good evolution of the business was largely fueled by the possibility offered to clients of paying the mandatory third party liability RCA policies in installment system. These accounted 83 percent of the company's portfolio in the first half, while the Casco car insurance accounted for 10 percent.

EuroIns Romania is fully owned by Bulgaria’s Eurohold.
