“The talks addressed the issues arising from Romanian-Chinese economic and commercial exchanges, as well as the development of strong bilateral relationship in the future”, the ministry said in a media release.
The latest data suggest bilateral exchanges continued to develop, the country’s export to China increasing by 20% from a year earlier, despite the global economic crisis.
China considers massive investments in Romania
The Romanian minister of economy, Adriean Videanu, and the deputy minister of trade of China, Gao Hucheng, said China was considering financial assistance for major projects in Romania.
