iPhone 3G handset is already available in 12 countries through the German telecommunication network that interconnected with OTE early last month.

In Greece, the price of a subscription is within 20-90 euro range, and the terminal can vary between 50 and 473 euros.

In Bulgaria, the subscription costs start from 7.6 euros up to 12.7 euros, the new gadget being available for 526 euros at the most.

The company also said that 86% of iPhone users access the internet through the handset more than four times a week.

The Greek telecom operator has acquired full stake in Cosmote earlier this year, after at the end of March, the operator was delisted from the stock exchange. In November 2007, OTE raised ownership in Cosmote to 98.59% in a takeover bid.
