Renault ships the new Megane range in Romania

The new Renault Megane models are now available in Romania starting from 12,900 euros and Megane Coupe from 14,350 euros (prices include VAT), both with 1.6-liter petrol engine, 16V developing 110 HP.

Renault Megane and Coupe ranges features two categories of petrol engines, of 1.6 liters and 16V and two common rail diesel versions of 1.5dCi that develops 105 HP and 130,HP 1.9dCi. For the new Renault family, the gearbox is manual with six speeds.

The new Megane range includes the following trim levels: Expression, Dynamique and Privilege.

The new Renault Megane models are equipped with ABS (antilock braking system), power-assisted steering with electronic brake distribution as standard, airbags positioned in the front seat, dual-chamber thorax/pelvis airbags, air conditioning, radio CD with MP3 player, electric windows, and mirrors, front fog lights, trip computer and split folding rear seats.

The new Megane Coupe includes two trim levels, Dynamique and Privilege.

The new Coupe is equipped with ABS, emergency breaking assistance, front airbags for driver and passenger, thorax/pelvis airbags, power-assisted steering, front and rear curtain airbags, trip computer, radio CD and MP3 connection, air conditioning, electric front windows, heated body colored door mirrors, front fog lights, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, hands free card, speed limiter, 16’’ Sport alloy wheels, leather steering wheel.

The third Renault Megane generation scored 37 points in its EuroNCAP crash tests, gathering five stars.
