Two masked robbers struck a Raiffeisen Bank branch in Resita, Caras Severin county and made off with €5,000. The two men were armed, according to county police officials.
The witnesses to the robbery said the two men were wearing motorcycle clothing and helmets.
The bank had only video surveillance systems, but no security guards, none of the witnesses being able to say what the two men took after the robbery.
It is a branch of Raiffeisen Bank, in Barzavei area, police officials said, adding that the 112 call was made by a bank employee at 9:41 EET.
