Among the seven persons who will face criminal investigation are Petru Prunea (photo), former chairman and chief executive of SSIF Broker, who was severely sanctioned by RNSC in mid April, and banned from trading in the Romanian capital market for five years.

Recently the national securities commission has decided to regulate the relations between persons restricted to any stock market activity and monitored entities, after enacting a clause that forbids any contractual relation between these category of persons and entities under scrutiny.

Apart from the persons under criminal investigation, Broker has also claimed the foreclosure of other five employees involved in the early-year scandal, from whom the company has recovered or is on track to recover amounts equivalent to the created damages.
