Private airline Eurojet, member of Avolus Group, said it acquired the Cessna Citation XLS 2008, the best selling private medium-sized jet for €9.6 million.
A flight hour with the aircraft costs €5000.
Our objective for 2010 is to have a 30% increase in profit year-on-year. Apart from the acquisition of the new XLS, we’re in talks for the acquisition of Challenger 604 through operational leasing by the end of the summer. We will soon have catering services with premium products on board”, said Alexis Grabar, chief executive of Eurojet.
Eurojet’s fleet also includes a Challenger 604, a Citation Excel and Citation Encore.
The second Challenger that will be included in the carrier’s fleet by the end of the summer will be the biggest aircraft in its fleet, with a flight capacity of up to 8.5 hours without stop for refill.
The medium term strategy of the company is to have 8 aircraft by 2013.
Eurojet Romania started its activity in 2004. Last year, the company joined Avolus Group.
