Automobile Dacia has started to distribute dividends for the fiscal year 2009, as decided in the General Shareholders Meeting.
Dacia will distribute dividends of lei 156.12 million lei, which corresponds to a payout ratio of 67.8% of the company’s 2008 profit.
The dividends will be distributed through BRD units across the country.
The gross dividend paid by Dacia is 0.0061 lei/share.
Revenues from dividends will be taxed with 16% and 2.5 lei fee charged by BRD for the distribution.
Dacia recorded revenues of 9 billion lei (€2.1 billion), up 17.8% from a year earlier, while net profit rose 3.7% to 230.27 million lei.
Dacia Automobile is a joint stock company established in 1990 and is held by Renault with 99.43% interest.
