“In order to have everything settled by the time the shopping center is ready to receive its visitors, including the stores that joined recently, we have decided to postpone the opening for the end of this fall”, said Israel Visel, manager of Romanian Malls Division and AFI Palace Cotroceni Mega Fun ‘N Mall.
Earlier this year, the developer said the shopping center would open at the end of September. AFI Palace Cotroceni has a leasable area of 76,000 sqm and some of its tenants are INDITEX (with all its clothing brands: Zara, Zara Home, Zara Man, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull& Bear, Oysho), C&A, Mango, Marks& Spencer, Calvin Klein and Orsay.
“Over the last month and a half, we’ve attracted 30 new tenants. The brands that decided to become part of our projects have increased the share of leased area to 95%”, Israel Visel said.
AFI Palace Cotroceni will create 5,000 new permanent jobs.
