Peter Imre, Corporate Affairs Director Philip Morris Romania & Bulgaria has stepped down from his role, after ending his mandate at the head of the tobacco company, and decided to pursue other career opportunities, the company said in a press release earlier today.
Roman Yazbeck, managing director Romania & Bulgaria, will also serve as interim Corporate Affairs Director and will also handle the relations with the media and external partners.
Philip Morris, the country’s leading tobacco producer employs over 700 in Romania.
Philip Morris’ brands are Marlboro, L&M, Parliament, Chesterfield and Virginia Slims. The main competitors are British American Tobacco (Kent, Dunhill, Lucky Strike, Pall Mall, Vogue, Viceroy) and JTI (Camel, Winston, Silk Cut, More).
