Yesterday, the central bank set a reference rate of 4.1352 lei/euro.

The national currency had a weak start today, falling from 4.1490 to 4.1570 against euro, but rose to 4.1470 at noon. At 13:05, banks were trading a euro for 4.15 lei.

In the region, the Polish zloty fell from 4.0115 to 4.04 zloty/euro in the morning but grew to 4.01 afterwards. The Hungarian forint declined from 275.90 to 277.80 forints/euro but rose slightly to 275.20 forints/euro at noon.

For the greenback, the central bank set a reference rate of 3.1975 lei/dollar, up 1.45% from 3.1491 yesterday.
