The other two plants, Romsteel Cord and Victoria Floresti will stall activiy on Sundays.

The plant in Silvania Zalau has a headcount of 1,300. Before the crisis debuted, the plant produced over 600,000 tires annually.

On January 6, Michelin resumed activity at its three plants in Romania, after closing gates on December 12, owing to the drop in global demand caused by the economic downturn.
